TakeRoot Justice and HOPE are partnering with 196 & 214 Rockaway Parkway Tenant Union to launch an harassment case against Yechiel (John) Weinberger. In addition to this harassment case, we will be addressing the DHCR petition for building-wide rent reduction. Both 196 & 214 Rockaway Parkway won building-wide rent reductions based on reduced building-wide services. If you were one of the neighbors who signed the DHCR petition and won a rent reduction, and you still have questions, bring your paperwork to the lobby of 214 Rockaway Parkway on Monday, April 13th at 7PM and Addrana Montgomery Esq. of Take Root Justice will answer your questions. If you want to participate in our current DHCR petition and win another building-wide rent reduction, come to the meeting on Monday, April 13th.
